After so long ….. ~

Hi my blog,

I feel bad for neglected you. But hope you understand me. πŸ™‚
After some times, my baking experience gradually getting back. Because I got to bake something for my family & friends. Sometime make people happy so that we can share the happiness is important πŸ™‚

Genoise Sponge Cakes

This is Genoise Sponge Cake that i use 8 eggs to make. I make this for my husband’s sister daugther πŸ™‚ I forget to take pictures AFTER. because I m late to send them cake. so everything is rushing. πŸ™‚ But i decorated it with strawberry πŸ™‚

Almond Cookies
This is so called ” Almond Cookies” that I bake for Chinese New Year 2011. This CNY i never bought any cookies. Some is friends gave, and i make some for myself and family. So next year I hope I manage to make some and no need to buy LOL πŸ™‚

Pineapple Cookies
This is “Pineapple Tart Cookies ” I still have to fix something about this cookies. Even it finished fast, but I hope that next time I can cook the pineapple myself so that it will sugar less LOL πŸ™‚

Chocolate Sponge Cakes

This Chocolate Sponge cake i simply rushing to bake for my son birthday. Eventhough I m sorry to tell that I got no confident and i store bought one small for him at the same time in case this one cannot be eaten LOL πŸ™‚

I know I’m bad enough not to update my blog’

I’m too busy with my working stuffs until I don’t have time to sit infront of the computer and finish updating my blog. But at least each time I’m baking, I’m sure to take a quick snap of the cakes I baked out. LOL πŸ™‚

In this few weeks when I’m away from blog, I did manage to bake at night. And this is the pictures.

The right side of this is Oreo Chocolate Cupcakes πŸ™‚ Yummy…. I like the taste so much.. πŸ™‚

This is the Banana Walnut Cupcakes πŸ™‚

This is a bunch of Banana Cupcakes that I failed. From here, I learn that to divided half of the recipes to test first before make a first attempt on that much. haiz ~

Hah! this is the 3 times I trying to make Meringue, this time i success ! πŸ™‚ Glad that my son love it.. πŸ™‚

This is Vanilla Sponge Cake. it nicely baked. – I use it to make Peach Ice Cream Cakes.
Of course we have to make everything from scratch. But the Peach Ice Cream that I make is melting too fast. Even I try to save it several time by putting in and out from refrigerator. I still failed to manage it well.

I scoop the Peach Ice Cream to the sponge cake that cut half, i use springform tin to make this decorating.

Nah! it ended like this. I put into refrigerator.

And it ended like this when I took out from the refrigerator. Oh GOSH! it really melting…. I got no time, just be fast and grap my camera and take a quick snap of this melting cakes. – I hope I can try again. πŸ™‚

1st bake cake with new oven

HAHA ! that day i met a guy friend. He told me that the first bake thing from the new oven normally cannot eat. So, I tried to bake a cupcake to test the oven. It came out perfectly well for the taste. Just the look of the cupcakes is not so nice. i put two tray of 6 cupcakes pan inside. And only 1 cupcake nicely pop out.

And theΒ second attempt, I bake Blueberry Crumble Cake for the challenge of the July at Learn2BAKE Club. It came out not really nice, but it taste yummy πŸ™‚

I get my OVEN !!!

wow! I bought OVEN after 3 weeks hoping to be able to get the OVEN to stuffing inside my tiny and pack kitchen. I decided to give up thinking and planning where to put the OVEN. I just bought it because I really hope I can bake more beside cake with my rice cooker.

Sometime I feel pretty hardΒ  – I cannot cook rice while I bake the cake. I scare if I bake too much my rice cooker will spoil πŸ™‚

Happy Father’s Day

It’s a good Sunday early morning, I woke up at 6am just to bake my Father’s Day Cake. This Chocolate Sponge Cake I specially make for my own father. I didnt decorate much because if too many whipped cream also not really good choice for my father that have diabetic.
I reduce the sugar in this cake, and the cake came out salted a bit. Next time I should use unsalted butter if I want to bake less sugar cake. πŸ™‚


This cake I actually bake it on Saturday night. Where I only decorated it with whipping cream on Sunday morning. I found out that I really not good at decorating the cake. So …. I just try my best to present it nicely … This cake called America Chocolate Sponge CakeΒ I bake it for my father in law.
Everyone said it’s nice but I found out that it still not really moist enough. πŸ™‚

2nd Attempt for America Chocolate Sponge Cake

This is the results of my 2nd attempt to bake again the America Chocolate Sponge Cake. Because I was rushing to get the cake ready and send to my parent’s house. Without waiting the cake to cool for 5-10mins, I directly get it out to plate. And the cake split two. 😦 too bad. no more rounded cake.


I use the mould to cut out the cake into smaller rounded pieces look like cupcake.

And the final results is look like this.. That is really awful. Because I still didnt catch up how to decorate the cake, so the poor cake ended up like this.


Anyway, I still not really satisfy with the results. Because the next day my cake that I put inside the refrigerator came out harder when I try to have a bite. 😦 I don’t know what went wrong…. But still trying to figure it out..

Go and shop for the utensils and ingredients

HAHA ! πŸ™‚ today I spend some time to go and shop for the utensils and ingredients to test my second cake. So that I can double comfirm that my Father’s Day cake to my father and father in law is perfect. πŸ™‚

I bought : –
1) Electrical Mixer cost me RM 106.00
2) Scale cost me RM 12.90
3) Tipping Bag cost me RM 7.00
4) Ingredients such as Chocolate Mix Pack x 2 ( different brand ), Whipped cream, butter, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, baking powder, vanilla essence,tar tar cream and boxes for putting ready cake inside x 2 all cost me total RM 38.20

I visited two stores so far… and I learn a bit from them. I feel that I will visit them again for my future baking items and ingredients πŸ™‚
